There’s a bridge that overlooks a pond, there’s a really nice ring, a movie stub, abandoning zero’s and dark’s and thirty’s, the beat of an Angel, a stolen laptop, and electric guitar, light shows, and Maplestory, and a postcard, a couch that lends itself when the lights are low and everyone is sleeping, and british girls, and blushing boys, and first kisses. There are flowers, and chocolates, and balloons, and Shimauyo, and a card, and Doki-Doki, and embarrassment, and another bridge, insecurity, a really nice necklace, girlfriends, boyfriends, perfect darkness, and February not January. There is some sharpie, a yellow lab, and Kirito, and Asuna, and Yui, and feels, and Starburst Stream, and kissing, and sword-fighting, and missing Alfheim, and International Houses of Pancakes, and Kimonos, and talking for hours, and crazy female drivers, and wanting to make art, wanting to make art of you, and surprise parties, and horses, and cowgirl hats, and parties, many parties, many laughs, and drawings, and marshmallows, and kisses in the forest, and there’s yuki, and Tatsuki and Mayu, and something inside of me sitting straight up, with it’s eyes wide, whispering wildly for a pen and pad, a cat named Miss Anna, a bus, a cat bus, twirly hair decorations, tears, and hearts, and so much pocky, and Miku, and dancing, and bonfires, and stealing you away, and truth, and a tsuchi-neko, and crying, and gifts, and impatience, and secrets, and costumes, and swords, and dragons that wield swords, and accidental sleepovers, and 50 Shades of Sakura-Con, and tickly-tingly, and Appa, and late nights, and sneaking, and Sokka’s Instincts, and a tree that shouldn’t have red sharpie on it, and another movie stub, and holding hands, and on-purpose sleepovers, and Sasuke hair, and creepy smiles, and coffee, and sweets, and card tricks, and so much Maplestory, and card games for horrible people, and learning and teaching and laughing way too hard, and holding you tightly, and losing myself with you, losing myself in you, there’s talking, searching, and Nyu, and Lucy, and Nana, and Kotah, and aching intensity, and crying, and safety, and blush, and Shoop Da Woop, and Gary’s Mod, and grinning, and agony, and retorts, and laughs, and Sora, and Mickey, and tea, and sitting on the floor, tea for Prinsookoh, confidence and love.
Thank you for four wonderful months
At swim meets, whenever we’re getting in the water to warm up, I yell out, “I’M GOING IN DRY.”
This was not appreciated at state.
